 POMELLATO REVEALS NEW AMBASSADOR
CHIARA FERRAGNI AT CHIC PARIS EVENT

Pomellato unveiled Chiara Ferragni as the new face of the Milanese brand, at an elegant VIP-dinner and cocktail event at the Italian Embassy in Paris, co-hosted by Pomellato CEO Sabina Belli, His Excellency the Ambassador of Italy, and his wife. Known for its unconventional, audacious approach to jewelry design, Pomellato tapped Ferragni, the bold, self-made Italian businesswoman, as the perfect new ambassador for the brand. As the inventor of today’s fashion blogger business model, and the woman who holds the helm of her own international fashion company, Ferragni was proud to star in the PomellatoForWomen photographic campaign, shot by legendary master of photography Peter Lindbergh.

Guests and VIPs were welcomed by red carpet to the sophistication of the Italian Embassy, and to enjoy an evening of décor, menus and cocktails of joyful Milanese inspiration. Greeted with Italian prosecco, the guests were led on a “journey through the salons” to view photographic highlights of the inspiring PomellatoForWomen campaign. Ferragni and 2 other iconic Pomellato women – Helene Nonini and Caroline Corbetta – were boldly pictured in the revealing, intimate black-and-white medium that has become Peter Lindbergh’s famous signature. Highlighting the most authentic essence of these independent, real-life women, their empowering images reigned beautifully over the evening.
To accompany the Italian dinner and ensuing cocktails, DJ Graziano Della Nebbia provided the musical funk, as mingling guests marveled at the jewel window displays in the elegant embassy. From saffron risotto with mushrooms to spritz cocktails to colorful floral displays, Pomellato’s Italian signature was infused into every jubilant detail. Pomellato welcomed VIPs and celebrities such as Chiara Ferragni, Peter Lindbergh, Virginie Ledoyen, Clotilde Courau, Aure Atika, Helen Nonini, Caroline Corbetta, Prince and Princess de Bourbon des Deux Siciles, Ellen von Unwerth, Stefano Tonchi, Becca Cason Thrash, Caroline Daur, Pamela Golbin, Tian Hai Rong, Vincenzo Castaldo, Pomellato Creative Director, and Stéphane Gerschel, Pomellato Global Brand Managing Director,to the event, who of course enjoyed themselves in true Milanese style.
Sabina Belli, CEO of Pomellato, lauded the evening as well as the new campaign, “I am so proud to represent a brand that is created by and for women. For over 50 years, Pomellato has been an empowering ‘real women’s affair’ and Chiara is the perfect face to represent that. As the CEO of her own company, a designer, a social media guru, and the founder of The Blonde Salad blog, Chiara grew her successful Italian company from an entirely new business model –one that didn’t exist before! It’s this confident and inspiring outside-the-box thinking that Pomellato admires but also feels a kinship with. We are so happy to celebrate unconventional, fashionable, Italian entrepreneurs here tonight.”
